Robert Armstrong, a defensive tackle from Morgan State, is making newsfeeds this week because he is part of the supplemental draft which will be held on July 12. Armstrong was asked a bunch of rapid-fire questions, one of which had the following answer:

Who is the best player you have faced during your career? Robert Armstrong: Jeb Terry, offensive guard for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Of course, he is from Morgan State, whose competition in 2007 will include Towson, Winston-Salem State and Howard. So, you know, go team! But it's still nice to hear one of our guys' name mentioned as the best someone else ever played. During the normal draft season (which for Bucs fans started last October), Armstrong wouldn't be on anyone's radar. But this is late June and no Bucs are getting arrested, so this is what we're left with.

This is also a good time to remind you of the "colleges by state" section of the site. Just click on a state and you can see the colleges and universities that the Buccaneers have been associated with, either by their own players or opponents. For example, no Buccaneers went to Morgan State, but a few opponents who posted some stats against them did. Most recently, Visanthe Shiancoe of the New York Giants caught a pass against the Bucs last year. And aren't you a better person for knowing that now? I think you are.
