Cadillac Metaphors Were Never Clever

Thanks to Matt Mosley for proving that it is possible to write a blurb about Cadillac Williams without using a car metaphor.

Bucs are hoping for the old Cadillac after a poor effort last season.

See? It's not so hard. He could have said something about an earlier model or rolling off the line, but he didn't. I literally sighed when I read it. Of course, the article he links to has the headline, "Which Caddy Rolls Into Camp?", but at least it's progress. Over two years since Williams was drafted and Mosley's is the first bit published by real media that didn't reference an automobile. A blogger, yet again, shows us the way.

As the 2007 model Cadillac rolls off the line, we have to wonder if he will be loaded with new features and added safety measures of if he'll prematurely end the season in the shop. BLAM!
