Jeff Garcia Is A TRS-80

Despite Jon Gruden's enthusiastic endorsement of Jeff Garcia as his starting quarterback and BFF, Garcia is still holding himself to an even higher standard.
"I feel like an old computer right now. It just isn't processing fast enough. But it's getting there. I just need to speed it up."
Not to worry, he'll have it together by training camp. So far, all signs point to Garcia being the right fit for the job in 2007. I have gotten several emails from readers who suggest (without the aid of spell check) that I have an anti-Garcia bias. This isn't true; I want the best player to win the job. I just thought that if you're going to have a real quarterback competition, it seems premature to name a winner so soon. But if Chris Simms is admitting that he still can't throw properly, then that's justification enough for me.
In a similar article, Garcia hints at how he got Bruce Gradkowski to give up his number 7 jersey to Garcia.
"Let's just say that Bruce can tell time a little better now," Garcia said of the deal he made to get No. 7 away from Gradkowski.
So, it looks like Garcia bought Gradkowski a sundial. Gradkowski said he plans to give the sundial to Simms to help him with his delivery speed.
