NFL Network started a week of father's-oriented programming yesterday. You can probably expect to see Peyton and/or Eli Manning, Chris Simms and possibly Ryan Nece or Bruce Allen brought out to talk about their NFL-noteworthy parents and how moving around from town to town affected them. The father/son duo they featured last night were the Jim Moras. I thought the interview would be in the NFL video archive, but it was pretty lengthy so maybe they'll skip it. In it, Mora the Younger mentioned being fired by the Falcons a couple times through gritted teeth, but finally let it be known how much he likes working with the Seahawks.

"Make one stupid comment on the radio, next thing you know you're in Seattle."

Jim, you're doing it again. See, you're making it sound like being in Seattle is a punishment. Maybe it is, but isn't this one of those times where you should just be publicly thankful for the opportunity? Remember when I told you about always ending your stories a sentence earlier? This is the kind of thing I meant.

The British had the Tower of London, the NFL has Seattle.
