Come On Gruce, This Is Getting Silly

Let's say you have mice in your house and you want them dead. So you buy a cat. But then you think maybe a cat isn't enough, so you buy a ferret. Then you put them both in a big burlap bag and shake them up. Then you throw some meth in the bag and shake it some more. Then you let them loose in the house. While the results may be entertaining to watch from afar, you will end up with a house that's been tore all to hell from the inside, and somehow still have a mouse problem. That's what signing Antonio Bryant will be like for Tampa Bay if he ends up on the roster along side Jerramy Stevens.

I was skeptical of the Stevens signing but got on board because there was no real risk to the Buccaneers if he went back to his old (read: two months ago) ways. But come on... Antonio Bryant? Substance abuse, DUI, reckless driving, missing team meetings. Gruce can't possibly think that putting Stevens and Bryant on the same roster in a town infamous for shady strip joints and a healthy drug trade is a good idea. I realize this is only a workout, but the trend is starting to bother me.
