Welcome Back Brian

Brian Kelly showed up to OTAs today, lending some credibility to my guess that he had smoothed things over with Bruce Allen.
Kelly is expected to make himself available to the media shortly. If he follows the Football Cliche Handbook, he'll say that he has a contract, he has no control over whether the Buccaneers make him a new offer, so he's just going to concentrate on football. He's also happy to be with his teammates and is looking forward to a much better year in 2007.
UPDATE: From TBO.com:
"I'll be here and I'm here," Kelly said when asked if he planned to attend the team's mandatory minicamp next month. "This is Tampa and unfortunately it's very boring right now. There's nothing going on but football and all you get to do is speculate about the Bucs. I'm the guy who gets speculated on."
But when asked whether he would like a new contract, Kelly didn't hesitate.
"That would be nice," he said before downplaying any chance of a holdout in Lake Buena Vista when camp opens July 26. "I don't play that game. That doesn't get you where you need to get and I understand that. I'm tired of the speculation."
I wasn't that close on his comments, but at least there won't be any issues this season.
