Buccaneers Hold Super Secret Rookie Minicamp

What I learned during the Bucs' rookie minicamp last weekend:
1) Sabby Piscitelli was the highlight of minicamp. He has a "lead by example" quality to him and seems to have come to practice is excellent condition. He was one of the only ones.
2) Justin Gatlin, gold medalist and "world's fastest man", has no hands. It's an interesting experiment, but he has no future as a wide receiver because he can't catch. And stop with all the pleas to make him a punt or kick returner because raw speed by itself isn't enough. He has to be able set up blocks or he will outrun his coverage. The guy hasn't played football since the tenth grade so he could concentrate on improving his straight line speed through the miracle of injectable gorilla DNA.
3) Jon Gruden's post-camp interviews are not the least bit informative.
4) Ken Darby, who was nine picks away from being Mr. Irrelevant, looks a lot better than advertised.
You'd think I would have learned more, but no. Most of the practices were closed so no one got a good feel for much except how well the rookies stretched. Hopefully the team will be a little more open with what they make public when the veterans join in the sweltering fun.
