Winners Of The Bucstats.com Draft Contest
Published: April 30th, 2007By Bucstats.com weblog
Thanks to everyone who entered the First Annual Bucstats.com Draft Contest, sponsored by It's Bucs and Bull Heaven. And for those of you who didn't enter... it was there for the taking. One well-placed Arron Sears guess would have won it.
There were a total of 15 valid entries. First place goes to "Rob L" with 15 points for guessing Quincy Black, but in the wrong round. Quincy was worth 30 in the third, 15 anywhere else. There were five ties for second place with 10 points. Some of them were correct Gaines Adams guesses, the others were for guessing Sabby Piscitelli in later rounds (no one thought he would go as high as the second round.) Because it was a five-way tie, I used a random number generator to select the runner-up. "dm4bucs" gets the cap. Congratulations to the winners; I'll be getting in touch with each of you to get you your prizes. The photo below is for you.
If you have any suggestions on how to improve the next competition, leave them in the comments. Thanks again!
