Bucs Sign Torrin Tucker

In an expected move, the Bucs signed tackle Torrin Tucker after the Dallas Cowboys passed him up by letting a Thursday night deadline pass without a matching offer.
Tucker started 13 games at right tackle in 2004 and 10 games at left tackle last year. Now he’s signed a $2.6 million deal with the Bucs where he’ll most likely play offensive lineman as a swing tackle for added depth.
He’ll earn a $100,000 roster bonus and a $1.2 million base salary this season with Tampa. Also since Tucker was not selected in the 2003 draft, the Bucs are not required to compensate the Cowboys.
